Questions contractors ask
Do I need a new phone number?
No. You keep your number. Taylor gets a local number of its own, and you forward the calls you miss to it with a code from your phone. Another code turns forwarding off.
Which phones does it work with?
Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and most other carriers. Your Setup page shows the exact code to dial. On an office line or a business phone app, set "forward when busy or no answer" to your AI number in its settings.
Will callers know they're talking to AI?
If a caller asks, Taylor says it's your virtual receptionist and that your team will call them back.
Does Taylor quote prices or book appointments?
No. Taylor takes the message and your team closes the deal, so callers never hear a price or a promise you didn't make.
Does Taylor text my callers?
Not from the AI number. Every lead email has a "Text them back" button that opens a text from your own phone, already written.
Can I change what Taylor says?
Yes. Update your services, service area, hours and notes in Setup, or give your receptionist a different name. The changes go live on their own.
How do I cancel?
Anytime, from Setup → Manage subscription in your account. There's no contract.
